Aerospace, Supply Chain, Energy, and Navigation Technologies (ASCENT) Center

Opening in August 2026, the Center offers coursework and learning experiences that prepare students for careers including those in the following areas:

  • Supply Chain Management and Operations
  • Sustainable Energy

Students at this specialty center will have a unique opportunity to explore the exciting and rapidly evolving fields of aerospace, geospatial, logistics, and sustainable technologies. The curriculum is designed to provide rigorous coursework and real-world applications that will strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills. Each pathway offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on learning, including the potential for industry certifications, internships, and capstone projects. This program will prepare students to pursue a wide range of degrees and careers in these high-demand fields.

Student Pathways and Eligibility Criteria 

The Center at North Stafford High School will have five unique pathways that drive the student’s course of study. 

  • Pathway I: Aerospace and Advanced Air Mobility

    • Minimum Criteria: Eligible for grade 9 and successful completion of Algebra I

  • Pathway II: Geospatial Technologies 
    • Minimum Criteria: Eligible for grade 9 
  • Pathway III: Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management
    • Minimum Criteria: Eligible for grade 9 
  • Pathway IV: Sustainable Energy Systems
    • Minimum Criteria: Eligible for grade 9
